Water Polo Queensland Masters Polo 5's

The board of Tourism & Events Queensland have recently made the difficult decision to cancel the scheduled Pan Pacific Masters Games.
Water Polo Queensland are still looking to offer a Queensland based Masters Polo 5s Competition and are now calling for Expressions of Interest to compete in the competition. Please note, this is only an EOI and does not lock you into competing in the competition.
Format
Polo 5’s
4 field players & 1 Goal Keeper
2x8 minute running halves
Minimum 7 players and maximum 8 per team
Dates & Times
Saturday November 6 (8:00am – 5:00pm)
Sunday November 7 (8:00am – 3:00pm)
Venue
Gold Coast Aquatic Centre
1 Marine Parade, Southport, Qld
Divisions
Men’s and Women’s
Water Polo Queensland will create divisions dependent on the nominations received
Please note: We would require a minimum of 6 men’s and 6 women’s teams for this event to proceed.
Min Age - 30 years (in that calendar year)
Cost
Water Polo Queensland expects the cost of the competition to be no more than $550 per team.
