About Us:

Water Polo Queensland is the governing body for water polo in Queensland.

We strive to govern the sport for the prosperity of all stakeholders and    promote safe and enjoyable participation opportunities that ensures the long term growth and sustainability of the sport in Queensland. 

We provide sport development, competition management, governance, player and coach development, promotion and marketing, participation and inclusivity, high-performance programs, and community engagement across Queensland. 

We support local clubs, competitions, coaching, and referee development programs, and fostering of the sport's growth among juniors and adults. We enforce rules and regulations to ensure fair, safe, and well-organised competitions as well as provide support to the player and coach development through training programs, clinics, and educational initiatives. 

The organisation also promotes water polo's visibility and inclusivity, encouraging participation regardless of age, gender, or ability. We also participate in high-performance programs for elite athletes aspiring to represent Queensland and Australia on the national and international stage.
