EVENT PHOTOGRAPHY

Photographers with SLR Cameras may apply to Water Polo Queensland by requesting permission to take photos at the tournaments and competitions. 

Permission can only be granted by WPQ, and photographers are restricted to the Grandstand only. Only Media Personnel and authorised WPQ photographers will be allowed to photograph from the pool deck.

Volunteer photographers may apply to be accredited by WPQ to gain access to the pool deck during the tournament. These will be limited and allocated specific time slots during the tournament.

Please note: WPQ issued Photography Passes must be worn whilst taking photos on pool deck and returned to WPQ at the end of the competition. If a photographer is granted permission to take photos at the competition, they must obtain approval from WPQ before selling photos. Additionally, the Association/Club is entitled to a percentage of the sale proceeds. WPQ Staff and Competition Officials have the authority to escort any persons that do not follow these rules off pool deck.
