Dear Member Associations, Clubs and Life Members,
This message is to provide official notice that the 2021/2022 Water Polo Queensland Inc. (WPQ) Annual General Meeting (AGM) will be held on Wednesday 30th November, 2022 at in meeting rooms 1 & 2 at Sports House, 150 Caxton Street, Milton Qld 4064 commencing at 6pm.
Attached please find the following documents:
- 2021/2022 AGM Notice
- 2020/2021 AGM Meeting Minutes
- WPQ Board Nominations form - due date COB Wednesday 16th November, 2022
- Life Membership Criteria and Application form - due date COB Wednesday 9th November, 2021 (originally sent on Friday 4th November)
- WPQ Constitution Review – Member feedback and rationale for changes
- Draft WPQ Constitution
This will be a face to face meeting and Covid social distancing requirements will still apply. As such only one (1) Member from each Association/Club will be permitted to attend this meeting in person. Those Members that wish to attend the meeting remotely can do so via Teams. Please advise the WPQ Office if you would like to attend the meeting remotely and a Teams invitation will be sent to you prior to the meeting.
The final AGM agenda for the meeting, including the 2021/2022 Annual Report and audited financials, Board nominations and any notices of motion will be distributed by Wednesday 23rd November.
The WPQ Board may also make a brief presentation to all Member Associations and Clubs following the AGM meeting to provide an update on the WPQ Strategic Plan, staffing arrangements and the proposed 2023 Calendar of events and other key initiatives for 2023.
