The 2020 Agonswim Australia Water Polo Queensland Country Championships were held over the weekend at the new FINA accredited 50m pool at the Mackay Aquatic and Recreation Complex.

Emerging Athletes Pathways - Pre Event Payments
From 24 January 2020, Emerging Athlete Pathways will trial pre-event payments for eligible athletes and officials under the age of 18 to attend eligible sporting events. Emerging Athlete Pathways will be able to support eligible athletes and officials before they compete, recognising that there are young athletes who may face financial barriers to fulfilling their athletic potential.

(WPQ) is seeking to appoint an independent finance representative to be a member of the WPQ Finance, Audit, Risk and Management (FARM) Committee. Ideally this person would not have any connection with water polo and should have qualifications, skills and experience in finance and accountancy as a CPA or Chartered Accountant.
