Coaches Feedback on Referees

Part of our focus at WPQ is to ensure that our referees and coaches work together to ensure that the best outcomes are delivered for all participants in our sport including players, coaches, referees, officials and spectators.  There are many elements that we are gradually introducing to allow this, the first is that we now have mentors, which include senior coaches, at various pools each Saturday throughout the BMJC and this will continue at the State Titles.

Another initiative that we are introducing is this form, the Coaches Feedback on Referees.  This form may be completed by Coaches who have just participated in a game and they would like to offer compliments to the referee(s) on a good game or if they have any constructive comments about the referee(s) that refereed their game.

The compliments are necessary as we know that a lot of referees do a great job and this year we are wanting to recognise our referees, at all levels, for the good job that they do.  Your input will form part of the process for the recognition of our referees at the end of the season.

As we can't have mentors and senior referees at every game, every day, your constructive comments on issues that you have seen with referees is also necessary.  This information will allow for us to identify patterns, ensure mentors are placed at the correct venues and allow for discussions with referees to enable them to grow and develop as a referee.

Please ensure that you complete all sections of this form with the relevant information to allow us to use this information to better our sport.
