Congratulations to Our Queensland Athletes Selected for the 2024 Paris Olympics!

We are thrilled to announce that seven outstanding athletes from Queensland have been selected to represent Australia in the Australian Stingers and Sharks teams for the 2024 Paris Olympics. This is a monumental achievement and a testament to their hard work, dedication, and exceptional skill in water polo.

In the men’s team, we are proud to see Marcus Berehulak and Nic Porter making their Olympic debut. Their journey to this point has been nothing short of inspiring, and we look forward to watching them shine on the world stage.

The women’s team will see some familiar faces as Gabi Palm, Abby Andrews, and Elle Armit return for their second Olympic appearance. Their experience and leadership will undoubtedly be invaluable to the team. Additionally, we are excited to see Alice Williams and Charlize Andrews as they prepare for their first Olympic experience, bringing fresh energy and talent to the team.

The entire Water Polo Queensland community stands behind these athletes as they don the green and gold in Paris. Their achievements inspire not only current players but also the next generation of water polo enthusiasts.

We wish them all the best as they embark on this incredible journey. Go Queensland, Go Australia!
