DELFINA SPORT REAFFIRM NAMING RIGHTS PARTNERSHIP OF THE WATER POLO QUEENSLAND PREMIER LEAGUE FOR 2023

Water Polo Queensland Inc. (WPQ) are excited to share that Delfina Sport have reaffirmed their naming rights partnership of the WPQ Delfina Premier League for this 2023 season.

The League was established in 2020 and was designed to be the premier water polo competition in Queensland that provides the best performance and pathway opportunities for players, coaches, referees & officials. It brings together the best existing and emerging talent across Queensland including current and former Olympians, National and State players.

Water Polo Queensland CEO Ric Willmot said: “It has been a successful partnership to date, with the league growing and we are incredibly grateful for Delfina’s support in delivering this. There is a great synergy between Delfina Sport and the League with the shared values of professionalism, quality and excellence being the key guiding principles for both organisations.”

Delfina Sport General Manager Kal Glanznig expressed similar excitement saying; “The feedback we’ve had back from players, clubs and pathway managers has been great. We were able to attend the finals with some of our Delfina team last year in Brisbane and the atmosphere and quality of competition was incredible. We hope this league and the partnership can continue to provide a platform for the clubs in Queensland to grow and retain players”.
