Team Fee Information
The early bird team fee is $2,596 including GST, for payment received by 30 November 2026. The standard team fee is $2,789.60 including GST.
The fee structure has changed from 2026, when team entry and spectator admission were charged separately. Comparing the combined charges provides a clearer picture of what the change means for teams and their families.
For example, a 14-athlete team paying the 2026 early bird fee of $1,760 including GST, together with one $110 family-spectator pass per athlete, paid $3,300 in combined tournament charges.
For 2027, the early bird team fee, including spectator admission, is $2,596. In this example, that represents a saving of $704 or approximately $50.29 per athlete.
The comparison will vary according to team size and the number of spectator passes purchased. Travel and accommodation remain additional expenses.
The team fee contributes to tournament delivery costs, including venue hire, referees and officials, balls and equipment, insurance, first aid, lifeguards, and event operations, while also providing spectator admission throughout each team’s four-day competition.
