Mens Team's - Townsville, Sunshine Coast, Rockhampton
Women's Teams - Townsville, Rockhampton, Gold Coast

CLOSING DATE
Entries to these championships are now open and are due by Wednesday 22 January 2013, 5pm
Teams will be limited to fifteen (15) players per team of which any thirteen may play in any game.
Final team lists due Thursday 31 January, 5pm. Please note that the names of players in cap number order are required.

Entry fee is $475.00 per team (includes GST). The team entry fee includes pool hire, pool entry for all players, event administrations, a program (emailed to each team) for each player and medals.
TEAM INFORMATION
PLAYER ELIGIBILITY
All players in each Team must be registered members of Water Polo Queensland. Players who are not fully paid registered members will not be permitted to enter or play in the Championships
- Invitational Teams are not permitted to participate in Finals
- Athlete Draft is available for all Teams
TEAM COACH
Nominated team coaches must hold current NCAS Club Coach (Level 1) coaching qualifications and their details submitted on the team entry form.
TEAM REFEREES
Each team must nominate and supply a referee. A team coach or manager cannot be a referee. The details of the referee accompanying the team must be given at the time of the teams entry. Entry Forms that do not nominate a referee will not be accepted.
ATHLETE DRAFT
Please contact the office for information regarding Athlete Draft.
STATE SQUAD SELECTION
All competitors participating at the State titles will be considered for selection into the Queensland Country team to participate in the National Country Championships in May on the Gold Coast.
TEAM TRAVEL
Teams are to make their own travel arrangements, including players, coaches, referees and team volunteers.
PRESENTATIONS
Medal ceremonies will be held at the end of the tournament and all team are asked to stay and be in full uniform.
COMPETITION RULES
Rules under which the Championships are to be conducted will be advised following the close of entries, as the Rules will be dependent upon the number of teams entering and the event format.
CODE OF CONDUCT
The Championships will be conducted under the Constitution and By-Laws of Queensland Water Polo Inc. Your attention is drawn to the Codes of Conduct.
DRUG POLICY
Queensland Water Polo Incorporated supports the Australian Government, the Australian Sports Commission, the Australian Olympic Committee, and the Australian Sports Anti-Doping Authority in their efforts to eradicate the use of drugs in sport. QWPI has published an anti-doping policy, which will be adhered to for this event.
THEFT
Any person/s found stealing signage or any equipment owned by Queensland Water Polo Inc, opposing teams or any of the aquatic center venues may be immediately reported to police and that person/s will be brought before the QWPI Judiciary. Please note that automatic disqualification of the team from the championship will occur if any member is found guilty of theft.
