The 2013 16 & Under State Tittles will be held in Brisbane between Friday 12, April and Sunday 14, April 2013. Games will commence at 8:00am daily and run through until approximately 6:00pm.

FEES
$475 (inc GST) per team. Water Polo Queensland will invoice your club.

TEAMS
All teams will be limited to 15 players per team. No more than 13 players will be able to participate in any game. All team lists and cap numbers must be submitted to Water Polo Queensland via email - events@waterpoloqld.com.au by March 8 2013.

PLAYER ELIGIBILITY
All players must be registered an financial with their club and the state association and comply with the Date of Birth criterion.

DRAFT PLAYERS
Any club or association wishing to apply for draft players must submit their form by no later than March 25 2013.

REFEREES
All Referees must have a current accreditation and be registered members of their club or Water Polo Queensland. The name of the Referee must be submitted at the time of the online team entry. The Referee must be independent of the team Coach, Manager or Players. Teams cannot share Referees. A penalty of $400 and a suspension for the next relevant tournament will apply to any teams failing to supply a Referee.

As a guide Referees will be required to Referee the game directly after their nominated team plays. The team that plays last will be required to provide Referees for the first game of the day. All Referees must wear white (preferably long) and provide their own whistle and cards.

COACHES AND MANAGERS
All Coaches must have a current accreditation and be registered with either their club or state association. All Managers must be registered with their club or state association. Failure to provide an accredited Coach or a registered Manager will result in a penalty of $400 and a suspension for the next relevant tournament will apply.

PRE TOURNAMENT MEETING
Meetings for all Coaches, Managers and Referees will be held simultaneously at 7:15am at both Stuartholme and Valley Pool on April 12 2013.

STATE SQUAD SELECTION
All competitors participating at the State Titles will be considered for selection into the State Team.

TEAM TRAVEL
Teams are to make their own travel arrangements, including players, coaches, referees and team volunteers.

PRESENTATIONS
Medal ceremonies will be held at the end of the tournament and all teams are asked to participate in full uniform.

COMPETITION RULES
State Titles will be conducted under the guidelines of FINA, the governing body of Water Polo with the following exceptions:

• Round games will be 4 x 7 minute quarters (running time)
• Finals will be 4 x 5 minute quarters (actual time)
• Where possible 30m fields will be used for men 16 years and above

CODE OF CONDUCT
The Championships will be conducted under the Constitution and By-Laws of Water Polo Queensland Inc. Your attention is drawn to the Codes of Conduct.

DRUG POLICY
Water Polo Queensland Incorporated supports the Australian Government, the Australian Sports Commission, the Australian Olympic Committee, and the Australian Sports Anti-Doping Authority in their efforts to eradicate the use of drugs in sport. QWPI has published an anti-doping policy, which will be adhered to for this event.

THEFT
Any person/s found stealing signage or any equipment owned by Water Polo Queensland Inc, opposing teams or any of the aquatic centre venues may be immediately reported to police and that person/s will be brought before the QWPI Judiciary. Please note that automatic disqualification of the team from the championship will occur if any member is found guilty of theft.
