Australian Water Polo is seeking to engage a Chief Executive Officer to act as the primary link between the Board and the organisation. The key objectives of the position are to provide leadership to staff in achieving Board objectives, to oversight the financial management of AWPI and work towards moving the organisation to becoming financially sustainable without reliance on government funding, and communicate and promote Australian Water Polo’s policies to the water polo community, government and other stakeholders.

Skills and qualifications required include post- graduate business/management qualifications and extensive related experience in management at a senior level.  A broad knowledge and experience of the Australian sporting system in particular the working relationships between the State Institutes and Academies, National Sporting Organisations and State Sporting Associations would be an advantage.
