The U18 State Championships was held between the 13th - 15th of December at the Valley Pool. 8 Women's teams and 6 Men's teams competed for the championship this year as well as vying for selection in the Queensland 18 and Under State Squads.
Congratulations to Sunshine Coast (Girls) and River City (Boys) on winning the Under 18 State Championships. Sunshine Coast (Gold) defeated Barracudas in the final winning on penalty shoot out after being tied after extra time 4-4. River City defeated Barracudas in their final. All Hallows (Blue) defeated Sunshine Coast (Blue) to win the Bronze medal in the girls competition while Sunshine Coast defeated Alstonville to win the boys Bronze medal.

At the completion of the competition the State Selectors announced the squads for the 18 and Under National Championships which will be held at easter in Melbourne.
