2013/2014 14&U State Titles
WPQ will be holding its annual 14&U State Titles for the 2013/2014 season.

TEAM NOMINATION/ENTRY FEE
$475 per team
DATE OF BIRTH CRITERION
The athlete must be Born 2000 or later.
All teams will be limited to 15 players per team. No more than 13 players will be able to participate in any game. All team lists and cap numbers must be submitted to Water Polo Queensland (Nanda Stoltz) via email - firstname.lastname@example.org by Friday 15th November. Players can register themselves to a team with the "Team Code" provided by the Club - https://reg.sportingpulse.com/v6/regoform.cgi?formID=35048
All players must be registered and financial with their club and Water Polo Queensland and must comply with the Date of Birth criterion.
Clubs: Any club or association wishing to apply for draft players must complete the application online by no later than 5pm on November 6th 2013. Click here to complete
Players: Please be aware this does not apply for a player that has already been selected and named in a team. The draft is a fair process and provides opportunities for those players that may have missed selection or if your particular Club is not participating in the State Titles.
Please note submitting an application does not guarantee automatic selection to a team as placement depends on what positions the Clubs are looking to fill. All Referees must have a current accreditation and be registered members of their club or Water Polo Queensland. The name of the Referee must be submitted at the time of the online team entry. The Referee must be independent of the team Coach, Manager or Players. Teams cannot share Referees. A penalty of $400 and a suspension for the next relevant tournament will apply to any teams failing to supply a Referee.
As a guide Referees will be required to Referee the game directly after their nominated team plays. The team that plays last will be required to provide Referees for the first game of the day. All Referees must wear white (preferably long) clothes and provide their own whistle and cards.
COACHES AND MANAGERS
All Coaches must have a current accreditation and be registered with either their club or state association. All Managers must be registered with their club or state association. Failure to provide an accredited Coach or a registered Manager will result in a penalty of $400 and a suspension for the next relevant tournament will apply.
PRE TOURNAMENT MEETING - Coaches, Referees and Team Managers
STATE SQUAD SELECTION
All competitors participating at the State Titles will be considered for selection into the State Team.
Teams are to make their own travel arrangements, including players, coaches, referees and team volunteers.
Medal ceremonies will be held at the end of the tournament and all teams are asked to participate in full uniform.
NOTE: Men will be playing at 30M for the entire tournament
CODE OF CONDUCT
The Championships will be conducted under the Constitution and By-Laws of Water Polo Queensland Inc. Your attention is drawn to the Codes of Conduct.
Water Polo Queensland Incorporated supports the Australian Government, the Australian Sports Commission, the Australian Olympic Committee, and the Australian Sports Anti-Doping Authority in their efforts to eradicate the use of drugs in sport. WPQ has published an anti-doping policy, which will be adhered to for this event.
Parking will be the responsibility of the individuals.
Any person/s found stealing signage or any equipment owned by Water Polo Queensland Inc, opposing teams or any of the aquatic centre venues may be immediately reported to police and that person/s will be brought before the QWPI Judiciary. Please note that automatic disqualification of the team from the championship will occur if any member is found guilty of theft.
