Queenslanders ready to shine at Olympics
Seven Women and four Men are one step closer to their Olympic Dream being named in the Australian National Olympic Squads. National Team coaches are set to watch the National League competition closely with final teams set to be announced in June. If all 11 Queensland’s are successful in the final 26, it will be the highest number of Queenslanders in the Olympic Water Polo Teams.
A congratulations to Queensland Academy of Sport coaches who have worked tirelessly over the past four years to prepare our athletes; Simon Daley (Men’s QAS Head Coach), Duncan Greenbank (Men’s QAS Assistant Coach), Alek Osadchuk (Women’s QAS Head Coach) and Jack Lusic (Women’s QAS Assistant Coach).
Good luck to all the players
